The workshop explored linkages between socio-technical change and governance. The objective was to foster exchange and understanding between the two research perspectives. Such encounter generates new insight into the dynamics of the policy process as it interacts with socio-technical change. Envisaged are more politically robust approaches to shaping sustainable socio-technical transitions. The workshop’s core themes were:
